FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of processing data and in particular to techniques for encoding and initialising service metadata required for efficient execution of applications written in object-oriented programming languages. Technical result is achieved by performing the steps of the method: obtaining and storing an encoded representation of service metadata in an initialized segment of read-only data of the executable file of the application and backing up, at least partially, the uninitialized data segment of the executable file for the service metadata themselves.

EFFECT: reduced amount of application disk space owing to storing an encoded representation of service metadata only in an executable file.
