FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: inverse dispersion for the preparation of thickeners and precipitating agents comprises: i) at least, one cationic polymer obtained by polymerization: a) at least, one cationic monomer and, at least, one non-ionic monomer (compound A). The weight ratio of the cationic monomer to the nonionic monomer is in the range of 90/10 to 10/90, b) at least, one cross-linking agent (compound B), wherein the amount of the cross-linking agent is more than 0% and less than 0.05 wt %, c) optionally, at least, one chain transfer agent (compound C), ii) at least, one stabilizing agent, wherein the stabilizing agent comprises one or more hydrophobic units containing more than 50 carbon atoms per hydrophobic unit, iii) at least, one oil phase. A method for obtaining a reverse emulsion is also claimed.

EFFECT: dispersion is stable during storage, which ensures its manufacturability, and has variable rheological properties.
