FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: mirror has a reflective working surface and a flat back surface wherein cut-outs are made to produce cells of relief structures. Their symmetry axes are parallel to the optical axis of the mirror and are parallel to each other. Some cells are made in the form of a cell hexagonal structure so that the inlet cylindrical hole for the milling cutter coincides in diameter with the diameter of the milling cutter, but smaller in transverse dimensions than the cell. Cells with an inlet which coincides in size and shape with the size and shape of the cell are added. The distances between each cell and the back and working surfaces of the mirror are constant. At least three cells are designed to mount the mirror. The edges of the relief structure which form the outer contour of the mirror are made with a greater thickness than the edges located inside the mirror.
EFFECT: creation of a mirror in the form of an off-axis fragment of an axisymmetric mirror having the ratio of the weight of the lightweight mirror to the weight of the non-lightweight 0,5, the safety factor 3, the deformation of the mirror working surface in the working position 0,03 mcm.
