FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: cutting head comprises a hollow body (3), a main cone (4) installed in its cavity, which conical surface (5) interacts with cutters (6) passing through the radial windows (7) of the body (3) and a cutter engaging unit (6) with the conical surface (5). This unit is made in the form of an additional cone (8) with cone ratio opoosite the cone ration of the main cone (4), which is installed axialliy and turned with a larger diameter to its larger diameter (4), and two-arm levers (9). The armof one lever (9) interacts with one cutter (6), and the second arm interacts with the cone surface (11) of the additional cone (8). The two-row cutter head comprises a second row of cutters (13) and a second main (14) and additional (15) cones interacting with them, conjugated to the first (4) and additional (8) cones by a connection that can be adjusted by the ring (16) and fixing the mutual axial cone position, and the second assembly (the second additional cone (15) and two-arm levers (17)), which allows the second row of cutters (13) to contact the conical surface (18) of the second main cone (14), similar to the first one.

EFFECT: increase the manufacturability and accuracy, reduction of the working hours for manufacturing of the cutter head, increased accuracy and quality of the cut grooves due to gapless contact between the cutters and conical surface, which excludes the displacement of the cutters when cutting.
