FIELD: machine-tool industry. SUBSTANCE: tool head has housing 1 and faceplate 2 disposed coaxially with housing. Faceplate is made in the form of sleeve with annular projections on its outer surface and toothed sector on the inner. End face of face plate 2 is provided with radial through recesses outlined as equal arcs of a circle and positioned eccentrically relative to end face center. Tool-holder is made up of three members: member 3 is mounted in faceplate recess and intended for carrying tool 4, second member made in the form of segment 5 is positioned in recess of housing 1 and third member in the form of pin 6 is intended for centering the first two members. Side surfaces of tool-holder parts and mating surfaces of faceplate and housing are cone-shaped and are positioned with their cones facing each other. Displacement and retaining of tool-holder is effected with the aid of actuator consisting of nut 7, two splined shafts 10 and 11 mounted in housing and two gear wheels 8 and 9 seated on shafts engagingly with toothed sections of faceplate and nut.
