SUBSTANCE: drill-rod string piped constituent element comprises a substantially cylindrical body and two connectors, each connector being located at the end of the body and comprises a threaded portion adapted to interface with the complementary member. In this case, at least one of the connectors has a lifting surface arranged to interact with the lifting device of the element for assembling it in the drill-rod string. The lifting surface comprises a non-circular cross section forming an activation zone for the drilling fluid.
