FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method for controlling, regulating and/or monitoring energy consumed by a group of power consuming devices is claimed. In this case, energy-consuming devices are designed to increase or decrease the value of their physical parameter and with the ability to work in the range of the physical parameter limited by the minimum physical parameter and the maximum physical parameter. The method includes stages, in which command are received from a control device either to decrease energy consumption, or to increase energy consumption, and energy consumption is decreased or increased by changing the value of physical parameter so that each energy consuming device operating in the mode of encrease of its physical parameter value receives a command to encrease energy consumption and stops increasing the value of its physical parameter, and each energy consuming device operating in the mode of decrease of its physical parameter value receives a command to increase energy consumption and starts increasing its physical parameter.
EFFECT: reduction of energy losses caused by pulsations, representing a short-term deficit or excess power.
