FIELD: cooling or freezing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of controlling a refrigerating system having compressor (22), capacitor (24), evaporator (28) and a fan of a variable speed condenser (44). Cooling system control method includes determining whether the ambient air temperature or compressor suction pressure exceeds a predetermined limit, determination of close to optimum values of pressure/condensation temperature, if change of temperature of ambient air or suction pressure of compressor exceeds a predetermined limit, setting a given condensation pressure value based on certain condensation pressure/temperature close to optimum, setting speed of variable speed capacitor fan based on preset value of condensation pressure. Determination of condensation pressure/temperature close to optimum values includes determination of ambient temperature, saturation temperature at the evaporator outlet, compressor speed and determination of condensation pressure/temperature close to optimum values based on certain ambient temperature, saturation temperature at the evaporator outlet and compressor speed.
EFFECT: technical result is minimization of energy consumption.
