FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: cap comprises: a tubular sheath (2) extending along the axial direction between the first and second end sheath portions, an insulator (4') connected to the first end portion of the sheath, with the ability to prevent the insulator (4') from rotating about the sheath (2) around the axial direction. The insulator (4') has an inner portion facing the interior space of the sheath (2), an outer portion facing away from said interior space, and at least one channel for receiving the contact pin (5). The channel extends from the outer portion through the insulator and leads to the said interior space. The cap further comprises of a body (3) intended for an electrical circuit to drive the electric bulb. The body (3) is connected to the inner part of the insulator (4') so as to prevent the body from rotating about the insulator around the axial direction, thereby to prevent the body (3) from rotating about the sheath (2).
