SUBSTANCE: inventive lens rim comprises a fixed body made in the form of a cylindrical element with through linear longitudinal grooves disposed along the optical axis of the lens, a movable optical component with a rigidly fixed lens unit made in the form of a cylindrical frame movably mounted within the fixed body, a cam made in the form of a cylindrical element with grooves of various configurations arranged thereon, adapted to rotate with respect to the fixed body, on the outer cylindrical surface of the movable optical component there are keys, for which in the fixed body, linear longitudinal grooves are made in the form of the keyed longitudinal grooves, the transverse dimension of which is made corresponding to the size of the keys that are installed strictly for the implementation of the movable optical component along the optical axis of the lens by corresponding keyed linear longitudinal grooves of the fixed body. The cam is mounted outside the fixed body, adapted to rotate around the optical axis, the grooves of a different cam configuration are made dull in the form of a linear and/or curvilinear profile and are formed on its inner surface, the keys are made with cut edges on both sides, for which additional keyed linear longitudinal grooves are made, the transverse dimension of which is made to the appropriate size of the keys with the cut edges.

EFFECT: creating a lens rim with reduced de-centering of optical components, when moving them along the optical axis, reducing the force on the structural elements that occurs when moving optical components, reducing the size and weight of the lens.
