SUBSTANCE: laundry treating device includes a casing, an outer tank suspended in a casing, and a pair of horizontal vibration damping devices configured to form opposite angles relative to each other in the casing. Each of the horizontal vibration damping devices connects the predetermined support located outside the outer tank, to the outer tank and each has a spot connected to the outer tank to be offset relative to the spot connected to the predetermined support when the outer tank is vibrated. Each of the pair of horizontal vibration damping devices creates a damping force in accordance with the offset.
