SUBSTANCE: method is based on comparison over the analysis time interval of binary code generated from a sequence of mechanical actions on a sensor element with one or more reference binary code combinations. Based on the comparison analysis of input and reference sequences, a decision is made whether the input sequence belongs to the class corresponding to the user codes or to the class that does not correspond to the user codes. The device for carrying out this method comprises a digital triaxial accelerometer, a three-channel digital filter, a digital differentiator, a threshold device, a differentiation result sign storage scheme, a reset memory, a maximum selection scheme and a digital correlator, a counter, an OR element, and a reprogrammable read-only memory with a programming input, and a threshold device for decision making.
