SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the system and method of automatic piloting, the methods of development and maintenance of an automatic piloting system of a flying apparatus (FA). The system contains a module for the collection of FA signals, an interface module, an output signal processing module, a common software core and a parameterization tool, and a means of loading and storing a database (DB). For automatic piloting, the signals of the aircraft are collected, processed by the output signals, and calculations are performed, parametrized by means of a binary data base. For the development of the automatic piloting system, the area of the configuration of the operational needs of the automatic piloting system is determined, programming and certification of common software mechanisms are carried out. To service the automatic piloting system, the user is identified, the binary database is loaded, the general core of the software is parameterized, and the data on the aircraft is saved.

EFFECT: possibility of adapting the authorized part of the automatic piloting system to changes in the operational requirements of the aircraft.
