FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices used to reduce the formation of air cavities in basic plastic in the manufacture of dental prostheses. The pressure regulator in the assembled tray consisting of an upper and lower halves is made in the form of a liner consisting of two metal plates. The upper plate of the liner is made of structural steel with a thickness providing its rigidity, and with a configuration corresponding to the bottom of the lower half of the tray. The lower plate is made of a shape memory material called nitinol and is made in the form of a flat metal strip having a longitudinal dimension corresponding to the length of the upper plate, with the possibility of assuming a curved shape as the temperature of the medium increases during heat treatment process of the base materials to create pressure on the upper plate by its convex part, and through it additional pressure on the gypsum.

EFFECT: allows to improve the quality of the finished product at minimal cost.
