FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dental prosthetics, namely to devices used to reduce formation of air caverns in basic plastic during dental prostheses manufacturing, and allows to enhance the ready product quality at minimum expenses. Pressure regulator in the cuvette consisting of upper and lower halves is made in the form of an insert into the lower half of the cuvette. Insert consists of two metal plates located one above the other. Upper insert plate is made of structural steel with thickness providing its rigidity, and with configuration corresponding to bottom lower half of cuvette. Lower insert plate is made of material with shape memory – nitinol with possibility of receiving bent shape with increase in medium temperature during heat treatment of basic materials to create pressure by its convex part on upper plate, and through it additional pressure on gypsum. Upper plate of the insert is equipped with fixators of horizontal position in the cuvette made in the form of diametrically arranged semicircular projections interacting with conjugated vertical slots in the wall of the lower half of the cuvette. Lower insert plate is configured, also corresponding to bottom lower half of cuvette, and is equipped with a circular hole in the central part and cuts along the outer outline of the plate, made with the possibility of maintaining the mechanical strength of the plate and with the possibility of receiving a bent shape, close to the shape of the ball layer, at increase of medium temperature during heat treatment of base materials to create contour of upper section of ball layer of uniform pressure on upper plate of insert.
EFFECT: invention allows improving efficiency of pressure regulator in cuvette by means of structural improvement of upper and lower insert plates to create uniform pressure on gypsum layer in cuvette compensating change of volume of base material during heat treatment.
