ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A24F47/00

Abstract RU 2632634 C2

FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: electronic cigarette has a cylindrical housing. Inside the housing there are an evaporator, a battery, and a sensor circuit for detecting the puff performed by a user from the mouthpiece end and connecting the battery to power the evaporator for generating steam. The evaporator includes a tube having the inlet and the outlet ends and extending in the longitudinal direction of the housing, holders at opposite tube ends, a porous accommodating material comprising an evaporable liquid and located around the tube, wick fibers passing through the side openings in the tube and made with the possibility to absorb and carry the evaporable liquid from the porous accommodating material into the tube, and a spiral of the electric heater in the tube. The wick fibers are deflected from each other, emerging from the side openings, and disperse along the outer tube surface so as to contact the accommodating material with the possibility of receiving the evaporable liquid from it by means of the capillary effect.

EFFECT: providing aerosol for inhalation by the user.
