FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle contains the charger for energy storage unit charging at the charging station. The charger has the joining element, mounted on the vehicle, which is provided for connection to the joining element, mounted on the charging station. There is the control unit for the vehicle maneuvering, installed in the vehicle at the area of the joining element. The energy storage unit charging system contains the charging station and the vehicle. The energy storage unit charging method is that, at the first stage the vehicle is moved to the first position with respect to the charging station, and at the second stage of the method, the vehicle is moved to the second position with respect to the charging station by means of the control unit, located in the charger area.
EFFECT: simplification of the vehicle maneuvering to put the storage unit for charging.
