FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: systems and methods for cooling process equipment are disclosed. The system comprises a source of process fluid and a heat exchanger, having a liquid connection to the process equipment and the process fluid source. The heat exchanger is configured to receive the process fluid from the process fluid source and transfer heat from the process equipment to the process fluid. The system also includes a control system with fluid connection to the heat exchanger. The control system is configured to change the temperature of the process fluid, heated in the heat exchanger. In addition, at least a portion of the process fluid, heated in the heat exchanger, is supplied into the wellbore at a temperature below the boiling point of the process fluid.
EFFECT: increase the cooling efficiency.
