FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: device for deironing groundwaters with iron recovery contains a constant current source, a control unit, and a housing with a cathode and an anode, in the upper part of which there is an air valve connected to a vent pipe and a pipe for draining pre-treated water with an electrified valve and a sensor of the water flow, and a feeding pipe of the pump with an electrified valve is connected from the bottom to the inlet, and a sensor of iron content in water is located on the clean water discharging pipe. In addition, the device comprises a flush water supply pipe with an electrified valve, two filter devices with water supplying and discharging nozzles equipped with electrically-operated valves and pressure sensors, flush-water branch pipes with electrically-operated valves connected to the common flush water discharging nozzles, a storage tank for replaceable cathodes equipped with an upper solenoid valve and connected to the upper part of the housing, as well as a storage tank for spent cathodes equipment with the lower solenoid valve and connected to the bottom of the housing. All electrified valves, sensors, solenoid valves, and DC power supply are connected by conductors to the control unit.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability and guaranteed quality of groundwater after deironing, expanding the application possibilities due to compactness of equipment, providing the flexible automatic control, reducting the construction and operating costs.
