FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device for reinforcing the load-bearing structures comprising a reinforcement element mounted on the load-bearing structure (1), made in the form of a metal casing (2) embracing the reinforced load-bearing structure with the possibility of its crimping and consisting of vertical elements of an angle bar (3) interconnected by means of prestressed transverse beams (4). What is new is that the prestressed transverse beams (4) of the casing ensuring the crimping of the reinforced load-bearing structure are pulled together in mutually perpendicular directions by means of strands (5) installed in the body of the reinforced load-bearing structure, the rows of the prestressed transverse beams located on adjacent sides are displaced in relation to each other by half the step of their location.

EFFECT: simplification of prestressing force control, reduction of the possibility of damaging the reinforcing structure elements and the reinforced load-bearing structure at the time of the prestress creation, expanding the scope of use, in particular in structures which can be subjected to dynamic influences, increasing the reliability of fastening the reinforcing structure to the body of the reinforced load-bearing structure, reducing the labour intensity of mounting the elements of the reinforcing structure.
