FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: from the amount of cement required for making an underground building structure, cement grout is made with the addition of a chemical element, the content of which in the soil does not exceed 0.1% and in the amount determined by X-ray fluorescence analysis. A pilot hole is drilled down to the project level and in return motion cement grout is supplied in the drilling string under high pressure to form a building structure in the soil with soil-cement pulp being extracted from the soil. Samples of the cement grout and soil-cement pulp are taken. The weight fraction of the chemical element in the samples and the density of the sample materials are measured by X-ray fluorescent method. The upper part of the erected structure is measured, its area is calculated, and then the quantity of cement (in dry state), contained in 1 m3 of the underground structure, is calculated from the predetermined ratio.

EFFECT: online determination of the amount of cement in a soil-cemented structure, made by jet grouting.
