FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: reller bit pick consists of a cylindrical shank with a conical-spherical groove from the side of the flat end and a spherical or conical-spherical rock-breaking convex part from the other end. The kerve has the maximum diameter of the conical part at the end face of the pick d=(0.60-0.75)D, the kerve depth h=d(hc/D)0.5, the cone angle α=10°-14°, the concave sphere radius r=(0.42-0.48)d, where D is the outer diameter of the pick cylindrical shank, hc is the height of the shank cylindrical part.
EFFECT: reduced concentration of contact pressures at the shank ends, reduced dap surface crushing-shearing when pressing the pick and increased tungsten carbide use factor.
