SUBSTANCE: unit includes a power source with a chassis and a movable cab, a hinged device and a hitch, a set of composite modules, and a loading device for installing or removing one of the modules from above on the power source chassis. The set of composite modules includes a harvesting module, a threshing module, and a storage/cleaning module attached to the hitch. When constructing a grain-harvesting modular unit, its composite harvesting modules - the harvesting part, the inclined chamber and the threshing module - are sequentially interfaced with each other, allowing the harvesting product to pass through the technological paths of said modules. Interfacing the threshing module and the storage/cleaning module is carried out by means of a system for transporting the threshed product. The system of transporting the threshed harvesting product is arranged coaxially with the longitudinal axis of the grain-harvesting modular unit.

EFFECT: increasing the operation efficiency of a grain harvesting unit.
