FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method involves joining the ends of a steel pipe or stainless steel pipe with butt-welded stainless steel tips. The tips, having a length of 50-150 mm and a thickness equal to the thickness of the pipe, from the straight edge side are connected to the ends of the pipe using a press soldering method in the solid phase. The gain resulting after welding is removed to a value of 0.5-2.0 mm. An anticorrosion coating is applied to the inner surface of the steel pipe with overlapping of the tips length.

EFFECT: simplification of method for manufacturing corrosion-resistant pipe with increasing its corrosion resistance by increasing the mechanical strength and ductility of the welded joint of pipe.
