FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and can be used in making carbon fiber reinforced plastics with improved strength properties. At first plasma-chemical treatment of filler from carbon fibers is performed. Then, the processed filler is metallized by sputtering layer of 12C18N10T stainless steel with thickness of 50–100 nm by ion-plasma-magnetron sputtering method at pressure of plasma-forming gas in the form of argon, 1.3×10-3-1.8×10-3 torus, discharge current 2–4 A, spraying time 2–3 minutes. Then polymer binder is applied, which is epoxy resin ED-20 with curing agent diethylenetriamine.

EFFECT: high strength of the obtained composite material at interlayer shift, which does not vary in time, which enables to preserve properties of carbon cloth indefinitely.
