FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: method for cooling the piston of the two-stroke engine with external combustion chamber includes a pump for pumping cooling liquid, cooling liquid supply pocket, a channel for supply of cooling liquid into the cavity of piston cooling liquid, the cavity of piston cooling liquid, a channel for discharging cooling liquid from the cavity of piston cooling liquid, cooling liquid discharge pocket, and a radiator. According to the invention, cooling liquid is pumped by the cooling liquid pump and moved along the route: the pump for pumping the cooling liquid, the pocket for supply of cooling liquid, the channel for supply of cooling liquid into the cavity of piston cooling liquid, the cavity of piston cooling liquid, the channel for discharging cooling liquid from the cavity of piston cooling liquid, cooling liquid discharge pocket, the radiator in which cooling liquid is cooled and fed back into the pump for pumping cooling liquid. The cooling liquid in the cavity of piston cooling liquid removes heat from cavity surface of the piston cooling liquid. Through the radiator, the cooling liquid is extracted from the piston and discharged to the environment.

EFFECT: cooling of piston of the two-stroke engine with external combustion chamber.
