FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filter for a smoking product, which includes a first separate filter section comprising a filtering material and a smoke-modifying additive disposed in its axial area; and a second separate filter section connected to the first filter section, comprising a filtering material and at least one channel located in the axial area of the filtering material for directing smoke, during the use, through the axial area of the first filter section in which the smoke-modifying additive is located. The smoke-modifying additive is located only in said axial area of the filtering material of the first filter section or in a greater concentration in said axial area compared with off-axis areas of the filtering material of the first filter section, and the second filter section is made with the possibility to direct, during the use, the greater portion of smoke through the axial area of the first filter section than through its off-axis areas, and the second filter section is connected to the first filter section, so that the second filter section is positioned directly downstream of the first filter section when they are introduced into the smoking product.

EFFECT: providing ventilation of the smoking product with the simultaneous introduction of the additive into the smoking mixture flow.
