SUBSTANCE: device comprises a housing having support elements for fixing to cable brackets. On the housing, by means of a spherical bearing, a swinging fork with a seat for the gear shift lever is installed through an axis. The bearing axis is rigidly fixed to the fork ends and is perpendicular to the axis of the outer ring of the spherical bearing in the neutral position. To the swinging fork, rigidly or by means of movable intermediate levers, fixing elements of double-acting cables in the form of spherical hinges or openings for their fixing are attached. The housing is mounted with its supporting elements on the cable brackets, on which there are ribs for fixing the sheath of the cables. The plane of the ribs is perpendicular to the path of the cables in the neutral position of the spherical bearing. The housing is provided with a supporting element for fixing the axes of an intermediate swinging lever or a return spring in the form of a lug on the housing of the spherical bearing. The lug projects towards the longitudinal swing of the gear shift lever - in the perpendicular direction to the axis of the spherical bearing in the neutral position. The axis of the swinging lever or the return spring is installed in an opening formed in the axis supporting element parallel to the axis of the spherical bearing in the neutral position. The supporting element of the axes can be made detachable with the housing and connected to it by a mechanical linkage.
