FIELD: heating system.

SUBSTANCE: mechanical-draft tower contains a body, a sprayer, a liquid collection tank and a fan, body consists of two parts: the upper part including sprinkler droplet eliminator between which sprayer collector with whole flare atomizers, and the bottom part of water sump tank for cooled water collection with a fan installed on it. The body is made of fine-sheeted stainless steel, and in water sump tank there is a diffuser, which represents a part of the body and connected to a ventilator, made with a plastic impeller and multiple-speed motor, which allows, in the process of work, depending on weather conditions, to modify the performance of cooling tower due to changes in air flow, and the sprinkler contains tubular elements made of thermoplastic material with lattice wall folded by layers parallel to each other. On the ends tubular elements are welded together, tubular elements are made with triangular cross-section and between each layer of tubular elements across the tubular elements along each of their end strip of thermoplastic material is padded, welded with tubular elements in places of their contact with the strip. During the welding process, end parts of tubular elements and strips laid between them are fused and during fusing process solid end walls of block are formed. The cavities of each tubular elements and the intertubular space are filled with hollow polymer spheres. The diameter of spheres is 5÷10% more than the maximum size of the grid wall cell of tubular elements, each atomizer of sprayer manifold contains a hollow body with nozzle and the central core, the body is made with a channel for supplying liquid and contains coaxially, rigidly associated sleeve with nozzle fixed in its lower part, made in the form of a cylindrical two-step sleeve, the upper cylindrical stage of which are connected by threaded connection with a coaxial with it central core, having central hole and installed with an annular gap relative to internal surface of cylindrical sleeve. Said annular gap is communicated with, at least, three radial channels made in said two-stage sleeve to communicate with annular cavity formed by sleeve inner surface and outer surface of upper cylindrical stage. Annular cavity is connected to the body of channel for the liquid supply, sprayer is rigidly attached to the central core, in its lower part, made in the form of a truncated cone, coaxial to central core hole, and attached by its upper base to the base of central core cylinder, and divider is attached to the lower base of truncated cone, through at least three spokes, which is made in the form of a round end plate whose edges are deflected towards annular gap, and on the outer side surface of truncated cone there are spiral grooves, in divider, which is attached to the lower base of truncated cone by at least three spokes and is made in the form of rounded plate, whose edges are deflected towards annular gap, throttle opening is made axially to central hole of central core.

EFFECT: improving the performance of cooling tower.
