FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method of controlled well making without excavation, where a well is formed with a self-propelled device comprising a cone-shaped working body with rollers, by which soil is compacted, and a drive for rotating the working body, installed in the device housing, wherein the axial thrust for well making is created by the working body while rotating it with the drive. Wherein the working body is screwed and simultaneously compacts the soil while rotating due to the fact that the working body rollers are located along a helical line with equal pitch on the cone-shaped generatrix of the working body and are represented by rollers, the ends of which protrude beneath the generatrix of the working body, and their rotation axes are perpendicular to the helical line. Additional axial thrust is created by at least three caterpillar propellers installed on the device body periphery along its axis and having separate drives to provide axial device movement. Wherein the caterpillar propellers have separate drives of controlled radial movement to ensure the adjustable clamping of the caterpillar propellers to the well wall, which provides the compensation of the reactive moment occurring at the working body rotation. Controlling the device movement along the required well trajectory is carried out due to controlling the operation of the caterpillar propeller drives, the radial movement drives of the caterpillar propellers, and the working body drive, and monitoring the device movement along the required well trajectory is carried out by means of a device navigation module allowing to identify the device location underground.

EFFECT: ability to make wells of a large length with the necessary, including curvilinear, trajectory, ability to control a well trajectory at the time of its making, increased use of the method in different types of soils, increased reliability and manufacturability.
