FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wrap (40) comprising a film (41) with a plurality of reinforcing tear bands (42a, 42b) extending through at least a portion of the film. Each tear band includes a tongue portion (45a, 45b). The wrap (40) is configured such that pulling out the tongue of the first tear band causes the film rupture (41) to spread to separate the first portion of the film, attached to the first tear band, from the rest of the film. Pulling out the tongue of the second tear band causes the second film rupture to spread to form a second portion of the film, attached to the second tear band. The second portion of the film, attached to the second tear band, forms the remainder of the film when the first portion is removed together with the first tear band. Also, a device for manufacturing such a wrap and an appropriate manufacturing method are described.
