FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: oil catcher consists of a welded metal casing detachable along the horizontal axis, the flanges of which are connected by a bolted connection. The oil catcher is designed in such a way that it creates an annular chamber, access to which is located on the inside diameter of the oil catcher. A cylindrical hole is made at the lowest point of the chamber, which is located horizontally, in the wall that abuts the bearing of the turbogenerator. On the inner diameter of the body, there are sealing "scallops" fixed in it by chasing and secret screws. Cylindrical holes are made in the lower part of the casing between the "scallops", that connect the outer space of the casing of the oil catcher with its chamber. The casing is made with an additional chamber, similar to the main chamber, located on the side of the oil catcher, opposite from the bearing of the turbogenerator. In the side wall of the lower part of the additional chamber, a cylindrical hole is formed that connects it to the main chamber. In the lower part of the main chamber, in the opposite wall, there is a hole slightly larger than the first one, in a ratio of about 1:1.375.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability.
