FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: processing system contains a plurality of processing subsystems arranged in a sequential order and a plurality of cleaning subsystems connected to the plurality of processing subsystems. Each cleaning subsystem has a corresponding measuring device configured to measure, at least, one of: a product loss or a water expenditure rate for the corresponding cleaning subsystem. Each cleaning subsystem is controlled for individual cleaning by a corresponding one of the plurality of the processing subsystems. Each cleaning subsystem is designed to clean the corresponding processing subsystem by washing the corresponding water processing subsystem, pumping the cleaning solution through the appropriate processing and washing subsystem of the corresponding water processing subsystem to remove the cleaning solution. The decision to switch from washing to pumping a cleaning solution is taken for each cleaning subsystem individually.
EFFECT: reducing the product losses and water expenditure.
