SUBSTANCE: in the first version, the device includes a multistage pumping part located in the lumen of large blood vessels. The pumping part includes a housing and a connecting shaft located inside the housing. On the connecting shaft, there are two axial stages containing impellers with curved blades and a stator apparatus. The device includes a drive assembly that includes a sealed housing. The sealed housing contains an engine and the driven drive shaft. The drive assembly contains a magnetic coupling, which includes an external drive half coupling on the drive shaft and an inner driven half coupling located on the face of the base of the second-stage impeller of the pumping part. The drive assembly allows the torque to be transmitted to the connecting shaft of the pumping part from the engine by means of a magnetic field. In the second version, the drive assembly is located outside the patient's body and comprises a flexible transfer shaft located within the patient's body. An end magnetic half coupling is rigidly fixed at each end of the flexible shaft. The first end half coupling is in magnetic contact with the inner driven half coupling of the pumping part. The second end half coupling is in magnetic contact with the outer drive half coupling of the drive assembly.

EFFECT: reduced blood trauma by reducing flow disturbances in the passage and decreased speed of impellers rotation, eliminates the need to feed lubricating fluid to avoid jamming of the drive assembly engine.
