FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: machine for southern reed harvesting for pellets includes basic and rotary frames, a movable carriage, a header, a lifting mechanism, a reel, an unloading conveyor, a wheels carriage, a hydraulic system, a hitch, a rotary mower with a drive and a device for formation of cut mass roll. A self-contained engine is additionally installed on the main frame. The hydraulic system of the machine is connected by a kinematic bridge with the self-contained engine, machine hydraulic system, providing operation of the lifting mechanism for the header and header drives, reel and rotary mower.
EFFECT: self-contained engine excludes the dependence of the drive of the machine working parts on the traction power means engine.
