FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: film comprises a thermoplastic composition that contains a continuous phase comprising a polyolefin matrix polymer and a nano-additive. The nano-additive is dispersed in the continuous phase in the form of discrete domains. A porous network is defined in the composition, which includes nanopores with an average cross-sectional dimension of up to 800 nm. The composition further comprises a micro-inclusion additive dispersed in the continuous phase in the form of discrete domains. The micro-inclusion additive is a polymer.
EFFECT: reduction in application of polymers in films production while maintaining the mechanical properties of the film, such as ductility or tensile strength.
