FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for measuring azimuthal antennae directional patterns DP in composition of large size surface-mobile objects, including aircraft (AC) in conditions of open polygons. The device contains a transmitter, a researched antenna, a receiver, a measuring antenna, a range measuring unit, a registration unit, and a radio navigation system unit. The antenna is installed on a movable object of large size, which is posted on the measurement site of an open polygon, the researched antenna is installed at a height h1 from its surface and connected to the output of the transmitter - signal source, radiated through the antenna during rotation along azimuth that includes programmable radio signal generator (PRSG) and broadband power amplifier (BPA). Exit of PRSG through the BPA is associated with the antenna input of the object, the second output of PRSG and outputs native true course measurement system and geographical coordinates of the object, and also its receiver GPS/GLONASS are connected to the inputs of object measurement systems (OMS). The radio signals emitted by the object antenna receive two orthogonal measuring antennae of polarization of the mobile ground measuring station (GMS). GMS antennae are mounted on a telescopic mast with changeable height of installation, antennae output is connected to the input of ACPB, outputs of ACPB and GPS/GLONASS receiver GMS are connected via interfaces to its ECM of control and registration, synchronization of measurement results of OMS and GMS are implemented in GMS ECM data merge procedure under the uniform UTC time of their GPS/GLONASS receivers. Additionally, in the center of the circular trajectory at an altitude of h1 from the surface of the measurement site auxiliary antenna is additionally installed for radiation of test signal when measuring the reflectivity of measurement site surface coefficient and radio signal level dependency from range, auxiliary antenna is connected to the output of BPA, input of which is connected with the PRSG output, which, together with standalone power supply source are installed in the immediate vicinity of the auxiliary antenna.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of the antenna directional pattern estimation.
