FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: compensator is proposed that is attached to the stop member of a stapler where the stop member comprises a forming surface, the compensator comprising the first layer, the second layer, and a connecting portion. The first layer comprises the first fibres and the second fibres, wherein the first fibres consist of the first material, and the second fibres consist of the second material. The first material differs from the second material, and the first fibres and the second fibres in the first layer are in the first ratio. The second layer comprises the first fibres and the second fibres, wherein the first fibres and the second fibres in the second layer are in the second ratio, and wherein the first ratio differs from the second ratio. The second fibres are woven into the first fibres in the first layer, and the first fibres are woven into the second fibres in the second layer. The connecting portion is adapted to be attached to the stop member.
EFFECT: application of the invention allows additional flexibility, rigidity and strength.
