FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: crushed carnallite ameliorant is introduced in a dose, which is determined by the filtration capacity threshold, and incorporated into the soil. The filtration capacity threshold is determined by a tube with the maximum filtration, for this purpose 40 g of prepared sodium soil, mixed with carnallite dosages from 0.2 to 1.4 g per tube in increments of 0.2 g is placed in glass tubes. Each tube is filled with 100 ml of water and the volume of filtered water is determined after 12 hours in all tubes separately. The ameliorant dose is calculated by the following formula: A=H⋅V⋅B, where A is the ameliorant dose in physical terms, t/ha; H is the height of the meliorated layer, cm; V is the density of the sodium soil layer, g/cm3; B is the amount of ameliorant in the sodium soil sample (40 g), which provides maximum filtration, %.
EFFECT: improved water-physical and chemical properties of neutral sodium soils, disposal of carnallite as a production waste.
