FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: gear box of the gas turbine engine for actuating its additional equipment comprises a housing, a kinematic circuit within the housing, a row of gears, and a power takeoff mechanism for engagement with transmission shaft of the gas turbine engine. The body contains points of attachment to the gas turbine engine and to the auxiliary device. The kinematic chain consists of a set of successive lines of gears forming angles between themselves. The body includes two successive sections, united at the interface of the joint, forming an angle between them and each having one of the gear lines. The sections of the hull are made separately and combined with each other at the junction boundary.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the manufacture of the drive box of a gas turbine engine and reduce its dimensions.
