FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: aircraft drive chain includes a plurality of gears engaging with each other. First gear comprises a wall defining an inner space, wherein an outer row of gear teeth is placed on the outer surface of the wall and engages with a second gear. Gear system is built into the inner space of the wall of the first gear. First gear and the gear system are configured to provide mechanical power transfer between a drive member and an actuating member, which are linked by a drive chain. Said gear system comprises a member which forms a ring gear, two planetary gears, a member which forms a pinion carrier, and sun gear teeth. Sun gear teeth are located on a first shaft connected to the drive or actuating member. Inner teeth are located on the inner surface of the member which forms a ring gear. Planetary gears engage with the inner teeth and the sun gear teeth. Gear unit is mounted on the wall using a release member, and either the member which forms the ring gear comprises a rim on which an inner guide of the release member is formed, wherein the member which forms a pinion carrier is fixed relative to the frame of the aircraft, or the member which forms a ring gear comprises an annular wall which is fixed relative to the frame of the aircraft, the member which forms a pinion carrier comprises a rim on which an inner guide of the release member is formed. Other inventions of the group relate to an accessory gearbox and propeller gearbox comprising said drive chain.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to reduce the volume occupied by the drive chain, as well as its weight.
