FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: peptidomimetic macrocycle is proposed that binds to the Growth-Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH) receptor and its use. The peptidomimetic macrocycle proposed has a structure as shown in the formula.
EFFECT: peptidomimetic macrocycle has improved biological activity, stimulates the production and release of growth hormone and can be used to increase lean muscle mass in the patient, to reduce adipose tissue in the patient, to treat muscle atrophy, lipodystrophy, growth hormone, gastric paresis, or short-term syndrome guts in a patient.
