SUBSTANCE: walking foot for the blade holder consists of an insert with a foot having a scale to control the length of the cut, and a removable head with a limb. The head serves as a mechanism for cut depth setting. The insert and the blade holder are folded from a stainless tape into an open profile that partially repeats the blade holder profile so that, due to material elasticity, tension is created to hold the walking foot in the position set by the removable head. The ejector is used to remove the foot from the blade holder. The walking foot allows to replace foot "sliding" with "rolling" for a straight cut and with "rolling with slip" for a cut along the arc.
