FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and can be used in microsurgical operations for application of nodular and continuous sutures. Needle holder for microsurgical curved atraumatic needles consists of a body with a cylindrical portion passing into an U-shaped profile. Body of needle holder is coiled from section of steel stainless tape into open profile, consisting of cylindrical part, having four rows of hexagonal holes, for holding and rotation in pins, changing into an U-shaped profile protruding from the cylindrical part and ending with a rounded in the form of a spoon end with a flat back sponge perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the cylindrical part of the needle holder, which is opposed by the parallel rear sponge. Back sponge is located on an end face of the slider enclosed in the U-shaped part of the needle holder with the possibility of back-and-forth movement confined by a front sponge, a pin, pressed in an U-shaped profile, and spring located between the slider and the screw screwed into the nut. Nut is fixed in the cylindrical part of the needle holder. Slider reciprocation in the U-shaped profile occurs when pressing the button with the fork, sitting on the axis, pressed in the U-shaped profile, which, when pivoted, pushes the pin pinned in the slider with the fork, together with the slider and compresses the spring, opening the groove at the junction of the front sponge with an U-shaped profile, the radius of which is less than the radius of the outer arc of the needle, which forms a prism in the U-shaped profile. Needle is laid on prism by outer arc, which allows aligning center of needle outer arc with axis of rotation of cylindrical part of needle holder, and releasing the button with the fork, return the slider under the action of the spring back and compress the needle with parallel sponges over the parallel side surfaces of the bent needle at a right angle to the axis of rotation of the cylindrical part of the needle holder, with the possibility of adjusting the needle compression force with the help of the screw without deformation of the needle, prick-in and knock-out by rotation along trajectory coinciding with arch of bent needle, with least resistance and deformation of fabric.
EFFECT: invention enables to change the needle grip, orientation of the needle at right angle to the axis of the cylindrical part of the needle holder and alignment of the center of the outer arc of the needle with the axis of rotation of the needle holder to insert the needle into the tissue by rotating in the fingers of the cylindrical part of the needle holder, smooth adjustment of needle compression force, needle retention by its side parallel surfaces without risk of deformation and change of needle bend, elimination of tool jerking when needle is released.
