SUBSTANCE: washing machine including a pump configured to selectively supply water to the circulation hose and water outlet hose is described. The pump includes an electric motor rotatable forwards and backwards, and a casing configured to form an area in which the impeller rotated by the pump motor is located. The pump casing includes a supply port into which water from the outside tank is supplied, a circulation water outlet connected to the other end of the circulation hose and a water outlet connected to the water outlet hose. In addition, the pump casing includes a water outlet and a circulating water outlet formed in a circumferential direction so as to be spaced apart from each other on an annular inner surface defining a gap between the pump casing and the impeller.
