FIELD: Field: training.
SUBSTANCE: specialist consistently offers the child to fulfil independently diagnostic tasks from the set corresponding to his passport age. If the child does not fulfil the task, the specialist gives him additional help once, then fixes the child's transition to an independent way of fulfiling the task. The diagnostic tasks correspond to each of the 11 estimated age periods: 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years, 6 years, 7 years, 8 years, 9 years, 10 years. The result of the child's fulfilment of the diagnostic task is estimated in points. Determine the final grade. Depending on the resulting final value, cognitive development is defined as "corresponding to the age standard" or as "cognitive development, slightly lagging behind the age standard". At the final evaluation, corresponding to his passport age less than the acceptable value, cognitive development is not evaluated and he is invited to undergo an additional examination. During this examination, the child is consistently offered the tasks of diagnostic sets of previous age periods which are below his passport age, until one of the children attains a score for the acceptable value. At the final evaluation of the results of the child's fulfilment of the tasks of the diagnostic set of one of the previous age periods which are below his passport age from the acceptable value or more, the version of cognitive development is characterized as "cognitive development lagging behind the age standard", and with a final estimate of less than the acceptable value, that none of the intellectual ways of solving the cognitive task by the child has been formed, and the version of cognitive development is characterized as "cognitive development is not assessed".
EFFECT: method makes it possible to assess the cognitive development of children from 6 months to 10 years of life through the fulfilment of a set of diagnostic techniques, each of which includes seven tasks in accordance with a specific age stage.
