SUBSTANCE: computer system comprising: a user's electronic device; a server to which the user's electronic device has access via a communications network, a server configured to process the OCR digital image on the server to create a document with the recognized text. In the method executed by the user's electronic device, the steps are performed: receiving a digital image of the document by the user's electronic device; analyzing, using the classifier, the performed user's electronic device, the parameter of the OCR quality of a compressed digital image that was obtained from the digital image by using a compression algorithm and a compression parameter; for the quality parameter the OCR is higher or equal to the specified threshold: transferring the compressed digital image to the server for performing OCR on the server.
EFFECT: expanding the arsenal of technical means for analyzing the suitability of digital images.
