FIELD: heating system.
SUBSTANCE: device contains at least two successive stages, with the rear stage receiving smoke or gases emanating from the front stage. Each stage comprises an inlet and an outlet, respectively, for a fluid intended to intersect with smoke or gas passing inside the stage to extract heat and impurities therefrom. Two fluid flow rates are provided in the stages, and each fluid flow rate is adjustable, and each stage comprises two fluid paths configured to be formed when using veils or fluid curtains perpendicularly to the smoke or gas supply direction, so that smoke or gas is forced to cross these veils or curtains.
EFFECT: reduction of emissions of particulate matter and pollutants, reduction of exhaust smoke temperature at chimney outlets, restoration of a part of thermal energy belonging to the smoke, improvemed energy balance of industrial and urban heating installations.
