SUBSTANCE: projector includes a plurality of transmitters, each of which transmits a signal, a receiver that receives signals transmitted from another projector, and a control module that synchronizes signals between this projector and the other projector based on the signals transmitted from the said other projector and the received by the receiver. The control module includes a state estimator that judges, whether the synchronization with the other projector is stable, and an amount determining unit that determines the number of transmitters to be used from among the plurality of transmitters based on the evaluation result performed by the state estimator.
