FIELD: physics, signalling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alarm signalling and is intended for detecting an intruder in the detection zone of an extended security boundary with triggering of alarm signalling means when an infrared barrier is crossed. The system consists of the central security post and multiple towers arranged in series on the area and forming addressable portions from sections of an electronic light barrier. Each tower comprises transmitters, receivers and an electronic unit with a processor, a processing unit, a memory unit and an interface unit. The transmitters and receivers of adjacent towers are spaced apart vertically and form parallel optical communication channels for transmitting information from one tower to another. The processing unit of each portion generates an alarm signal based on a defined algorithm.
EFFECT: high noise-immunity of the system, short response time of the system and the required data rate, simple electronic equipment, low power consumption, wider field of use of the system for securing extended boundaries and perimeters of high-security facilities.
